An intreguing story. Quick and suspensful.
I found the book enjoyable as a short story.. Things happened quickly, not long and drawn out. Julia being given only a short time to solve the mystery to save her job was an interesting twist. With her being a wedding planned and part time sleuth. A good clean book to read and enjoy.
Dye By Cake
I decided to give this book a 5 Star rating because it was not for me. I rarely read short stories. Somewhere in this book a door bell rang - in a hotel/motel setting (a wedding venue)? Also, it was unrealistic to solve a murder in less than 24 hours.
More humor might have endeared the author and encouraged the reader to try another story. OR, the author might consider a full length true crime or a novel.

Dye by Cake: (The Secret Wedding Planner Cozy.
This story has a beginning and an end with little character development or plot building which would help to build the climax. The author has good ideas but she needs to weave her thoughts together and add more depth to the characters.

Dye by Cake I was looking forward to reading your book but the characters were not well described before the story started and I just could not finish reading it.
Quick
Very fact read. A lift!e too short for me. But all in all out was good. Might read the next ones in the series.
