This week, Dylan Scott sat in with Katie Neal during the 'Superstar Power Hour,' diving deep into his hobbies, hometown, and headlining tour.
Pausing from his preparation for turkey hunting season, the "Country Till I Die" singer shared an update on building his dream home. "You know, my whole life, all I wanted to do was sing music and make money to buy a farm and build a house and raise my kids." He's finally realized his goal, but his wife remains the project manager. "It's just whatever my wife wants, I just say, 'yes, ma'am.'"
Speaking of his wife, Blair, Scott looked back on the couple's origin story and shared the way it's woven into his hit, "This Town's Been Too Good To Us."
An ode to his hometown and his gratitude for the people there he reveals, "I don't mean this in a bad way, but I don't think I would ever go back there to live there. But I love going home to visit, and I love the people in the town."
It was there that he met Blair in seventh grade, with the two going on to date in high school. "We started dating sophomore [year] in high school. So I was 15. She was 16. So, yeah, she definitely stole my heart."
Dylan also detailed his upcoming Country Till I Die Tour, set to be his biggest headlining trek to date. The singer shares he'll bring his kids along, and try to remember the advice he got from his friend, Luke Bryan. "He just said, 'hey, have fun.' That's all. Just have fun. It's not rocket science."
