Ladies, do you wish your husband would fall asleep already so you can curl up with Ben & Jerry? Do you turn down invitations with fake health problems because you have nothing that fits? Do you secretly wish all beautiful women were shipped to Siberia?
Men, do you resemble the Pillsbury Dough Boy? Do you spend more time complaining about your life than doing something about changing it? Do most of your activities include a beer, a remote and a couch?
THERE’S HOPE!
The ‘LeAvE iT To LeAh!’ Show explores how to reinvent yourself and find the courage to reach your star! Guest interviews, call-in questions, information, motivation, advice and entertainment – everything you need to be inspired to lose weight, gain confidence and transform your dreams into goals. You’re gonna laugh your way to a new You!
As a weight loss instructor and coach I love watching the metamorphosis of women and the growth of confidence in men as they attained their goals. Through my career as a Weight Watchers lecturer, I realized no one wanted to be on a diet, they wanted to be thin! By exposing the humor in the dysfunctions of dieters I was able to make the journey less painful.
My next venture was a counseling program I developed called ‘WINGS’ which challenged women to create and reach personal goals! I loved working one-on-one and hosting growth seminars!
I was riding my star when a tragedy occurred in my life that crushed me. I lost my enthusiasm, and turned to food for comfort. I had snacked through a chipload of books and magazine articles that addressed self-improvement, but I never gained the motivation to make changes in my life. I did however gain a waste size and a pair of stretchy pants!
I sat immobilized with my pain for years, until I realized if I couldn’t find the courage to help myself, I wouldn’t be able to help others. With all of this in mind, I was inspired to develop a web series where I could invite viewers to join me on a mutual adventure; a self-discovery and transformational journey! Thus, I created The ‘LeAvE iT To LeAh!’ Show!
If you can’t afford a lifetime of therapy, then your alternative is to join me and other dysfunctional men and women who are tired of self-defeating struggles.
