This sermon is pulled from a story of dysfunction in Jacob’s family. Jacob marries two sisters, Leah and Rachel, and each person adds more dysfunction to the family. We see that God provides for Jacob’s family, even in the midst of their problems. We are also reminded that Jesus was a part a dysfunctional family on earth, and he has made a family of all believers, namely the church.
