Episode Summary
The first episode of How Would You Run That? is an introduction to the concept of the show and the hosts - Lucas Tomlinson & Jake Canner, two Dungeons & Dragons Dungeon Masters/Game Masters and best friends who like to plan adventures and scenarios for Dungeons & Dragons. Lucas and Jake talk about their ideas for the show, their backgrounds in D&D, get a little off topic talking about practicalities and ultimately test the concept with an off the cuff test - planning an encounter with a cheese salesman. Thrilling stuff.
Podcast Overview
How Would You Run That? is an ideas factory and creative workshop for Dungeons & Dragons. At the end of each show one of the pair will reveal the subject for the next episode - an encounter, location, NPC, item, monster (or anything else that can exist in D&D) and ask the question - How would you run that? The pair a week to plan and research the topic before discussing on the next show, explaining their own ideas and then merging the best of them into something that Dungeon Masters and Players could actually incorporate into their games. It's hopefully useful straight from the go, possibly a good starting point for you to create your own fascinating ideas and at worst a little bit of fun.
