Ryan kicks off the discussion by highlighting the 2022 Philadelphia Eagles, who, despite falling short and breaking all of the guys’ hearts, still made fans proud with their effort, leadership and colorful personality. Chris talks about the 2008 Boston Celtics, who won the championship that season and started the trend of “super teams” assembling in the NBA as they were led by two of the coolest players of all time, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen. Derick finds a loophole and ventures into the Esports world by naming Cloud9’s 2016 CS:GO squad, led by former esports stars Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek and Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham. Some other teams mentioned in the episode include the 2008 Philadelphia Phillies, the 2017 Philadelphia Eagles and McLaren’s Formula 1 racing team.
The Sweats end the episode by letting Ryan gush over the 2022-2023 Philadelphia Phillies because he didn’t want the episode to end without him giving those teams a shoutout. Go Sports!!!
