Dee Willard-Ruffin is a living example of what is possible with perseverance, grit, and graciousness. First, she fought her way up the corporate ladder to become the first African American female Postmaster in Bethesda, Maryland. Next, she pushed through the pain of her husband's death to make a comeback in life, starting over and creating a highly successful real estate investment company.  And when we interviewed her, Dee shared another, incredible, and the seldom shared story of survival she faced first.
