Episode Highlights:
Finding Out What You Really Want
It's amazing how many people don't pause to think about what they really want in their life. Or they could be thinking about how they no longer want their job and it’s sucking a lot out of them. And they finally realize there’s more to life, but they’re quick to say they can’t because “I can’t” sounds easy.
Getting Out of Your Comfort Zone
Being comfortable is like a purgatory where you're in between two different places because you say you’re fine but you feel horrible. Therefore, you have to ask yourself what you want and call yourself out on your excuses. Why do you say you can’t or you won’t? Dive deeper into that. What is the resistance you’re feeling? Is it because you're going to have to make a change and it’s uncomfortable?
Trusting Your Process
If you can break down the barriers of what the fear is and have a clear plan of what you're capable of achieving, then it’s going to be okay to quit your job and you're going to be okay to do your business. But you have to want it bad enough to make these changes or shifts. Finally, follow the process to take the steps. It's going to get uncomfortable and it is going to hit resistance. But you have to be able to overcome the hurdle and ask for help. And give yourself the grace to embrace those setbacks. Realize that you're not going to achieve everything that you want all at once. Maybe it’s just the universe telling you to take a different path and use those setbacks as beautiful lessons.
