Hello and welcome back to another sweaty episode of the 5 O'Clock Sweats Podcast!

In this week's episode, all three of The Sweats are reunited as they look ahead and discuss some upcoming games that have caught their eyes recently. Space Marine 2, which is based off the Warhammer 40,000 miniature wargame, is a third person action shooter that reminds Ryan of hit games like Gears of War, Helldivers 2 and Elden Ring. Delta Force: Hawk Ops, which is the latest entry into the Delta Force franchise that was first introduced in the late 90s and early-mid 2000s, is a first person shooter that features a Battlefield-like conquest mode and a Escape from Tarkov-like extraction shooter mode. Gameplay wise, it looks like it can appeal to fans of Call of Duty's fast-paced action and Tarkov's hardcore shooting and gun customization. Finally, Splitgate 2, which is a sequel to the hit indie FPS from 1047 Games, looks to evolve the addicting formula of the original with a faction system and a fresh coat of paint thanks to Unreal Engine 5.

Space Marine 2 is scheduled to release on September 9 2024, while Delta Force is rumored for a Q1 2025 release and Splitgate 2 is confirmed for a TBA 2025 release.
