Yes, you read that title correct. I took on a prolonged fasting period with the motivation from a friend of mine, Brian Q Davis. His trainer Thomas DeLauer turned him onto the health benefits of a 72-hour fast not only physically but on a cellular level too.
Stem Cells: Stem cell recovery. Increased activation and life to our cells. Increased white blood cell growth.
Stress Management: Train your body to handle the stress for times when you are not fasting for optimal performance.
Cognitive Benefits: Increased focus. Clarity. Less fog. Increased awareness.
While I have not yet finished my fast, I am already experiencing the emotional benefits from this. It excites me to be able to execute this so that I can track and share it with you.
