The new "Mortal Kombat" movie is out on HBO Max, and has gotten some seriously mixed reviews. I wanted to dive into that, and see if we could land on a reasonable take. I could think of nobody better than my good friend Sal Pennachio (who is one of the few people that I can admit loves video games more than I do), to come on and try to hash out not only the new movie, but the two old movies from the 90s, and the games themselves, which were the impetus behind everything.
There's some fun facts, some piping hot takes, and some arguments that won't be resolved until the listeners tell us who is right and who is wrong.
If you want to see more of Sal, which you should, follow him on Twitch HERE, and stay tuned for when he's streaming some fun games, where you can probably find me lurking in his chat as well.
