Re Kiriyama is only good at one thing; shogi. But unfortunately, after the death of his biological family, and the harsh conditions of his adoptive one, he's living alone in the big city, wandering through life in a malaise of grief and self-doubt. Luckily, th Kawamoto family have basically adopted him due to Akira's propensity for picking up strays. Also, he plays shogi at some point, I assume. This week, Matt, Sam, Jae, and Jacob read and discuss March Comes in Like a Lion by Chica Umino.
