Proofread whatever you write. A little quality control goes a long way.
Author, Michael Angelo Caruso offers four tips to prevent you from looking rushed, disorganized or worse--stupid:
1. Proofread aloud.
2. Review your work with specific goals in mind. Read it to spot grammar mistakes. Read it again for continuity. Reread it for expression.
4. Have someone else read your work and offer feedback.
5. Ask a "pro" to proofread what you've written. Pros are people who pride themselves on being correct when it comes to grammar, syntax and language. They'll LOVE to tell you what's wrong with your writing.
