When You’re Thinking of Transitioning to an Entrepreneurial Place
There are a lot of people who have an entrepreneurial fantasy because they see something. And if you feel the itch and you're seeking to transition to an entrepreneurial place, be frugal so you can invest in the business. If you're putting on this facade, rather than rolling frugal, that will slow, if not murder, the potential for the business. Therefore, live slim so you can continue your business.
When you live a simple and frugal life, and you’re living below your means, it's not so scary. It just feels better to be in a crisis and be focused on taking care of your staff or people around you rather than being worried about yourself. So there’s much lower pressure.
The Power of Having a Philanthropic Mindset
If you have the heart to give and you have a philanthropic mindset, whether you're giving a time or treasure or talent, there are things we can do to contribute. They can just be inordinately expensive. You can host events or do things that cost a very small amount of money.
What is the Entrepreneurial Spirit?
Take something from seemingly nothing and grow it into something or repurpose it in a different way. Then try to take that kind of mindset in other areas of your life to help other people.
People that don't treat other people well have difficulty retaining employees, they have difficulty finding people to partner with, and they have difficulty finding people to borrow when they need to borrow. The truth is – you just want to be around people that you can respect and enjoy.
Are You Doing Things Right?
If you're not having fun doing your thing, you're doing the wrong thing, or the thing wrong. In which part of your life do you choose to be miserable? When you can project in an honest sense that you're happy, and you're respectful, and you're appreciative, you tend to attract similar people, while miserable people can't stand to be around you and they go elsewhere.
