Hey y’all, welcome to Sick of this Shitpod and I’m Nick, your host. Today is episode 15 - small win. This one is the start of the “collection of wins” and is really special to me. Thanks the the hard work, organizing, and activism of people like Fred Wellman, Kristofer Goldsmith, The Ken Harbaugh Show, and so many others made a dam in the river and stopped a flood of VA providers from being forced out. This is a small win in the long run, but a big win for now. It energizes us and gives us hope for the next. A small win leads to sustained wins, sustained wins lead to big wins, big wins lead to progress, and progress leads to huge wins. We’re at step 1 and this is a whimsical call to get us going to steps 2, 3, and more.
