I Corinthians 6:19-20. It reads, "Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in spirit, which are God’s.”
This powerful scripture reminds us we are not our own we were bought with a price and that was Jesus crucified for us. When this truth penetrates our hearts and renews our minds we can’t help but walk a more humble and obedient walk with the Lord. By being obedient to this revelation we are empowered to willingly walk in love towards one another. For it is the enemy who deceives and desires to defile this temple our bodies as he will do to the future temple that will be built in the last days. We have the power and authority to deny him access, so let’s deny him that access and walk in Love through our humble obedience to His word.
