Today, Morgan and Dani dive headfirst into the empty pool known a The Mandela Effect. The Mandela Effect is the term coined when a group of people have DISTINCT memories of something that are directly in contradiction to what reality holds to be true. These are commonly thought to be “false memories” or the more technical term, confabulation, but due to their prevalence across so many items, primarily in pop culture. The theory gets its name from Nelson Mandela, who died in 2013, but upon his death a HUGE faction of people came forward saying that they thought Mandela had in fact died while imprisoned for his activism in the 80s.
