We are told by God in the book of Isaiah: ISA 42:8 "I am the LORD; that is my name!  I will not give my glory to another or my praise to idols. ISA 42:9 See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you."

If God announces what will come, of first importance is to determine it is, indeed, His voice you are hearing, and it is surely His prophecies you are learning. But how can you do this amidst all the noise? A key help in this distinction is to KNOW God, Himself very, very well. Understanding His heart, mind, character and His point of view first is key. We must learn specifically how to observe and determine God and His Word systematically, bringing forth His flawless plan over the foundation of the timeline of past and present. To know the future He will make come to pass.

Join the class as we instigate determining truth in some general end-times eschatology and prophecies. We endeavor to learn how to correctly place in context what has already transpired, and what God has already given us as history vs. what is now, and soon to come. We investigate this thing called time, and learn God's point of view in it, in contrast to our own. 

The past, present and future are not, for God, separated and distinct entities - eternity is not an endless timeline either.  In this class, we use examples and observation of history and competing eschatological points of view to help us to learn how to verify and then heed God's voice in its truth.
