World view vs. Word view
In today’s episode, our sincere desire is for those watching or listening to choose the Word View and recognize the significant contrast to the World View. 1 John 4:11-13 in The Passion Translation states:
"Delightful loved ones, if He loved us with such tremendous love, then ‘loving one another’ should be our way of life! No one has ever gazed upon the fullness of God’s splendor. But if we love one another, God makes His permanent home in us, and we make our permanent home in Him, and His love is brought to its full expression in us. He has given us His Spirit within us so we can have the assurance that He lives in us and that we live in Him."
Our eyes are fixed on the Author and Finisher of our faith as we navigate a world that emphasizes "me, myself, and I," where people often believe they only have one life to live. However, the Word View teaches us that we must first die to self-hatred, hating our neighbor, and ultimately hating God. Embracing the Word View to Love the Lord with all you are, Love others as you love yourself, this love allows us to live permanently with the Father, both now and forever.
