DAY 8 — MAY 15 The One Thing Jesus Couldn't Do

While Jesus walked the earth in human form, there was one specific, powerful thing He could not do.

He could heal the blind. He could raise the dead. He could speak to storms. He could feed thousands with almost nothing. But He could not walk up to a person and say: I was where you are. I was lost. I was broken. I failed and I fell and I didn't know if I would make it back. And then something changed.

He couldn't say that. Because He didn't have that story.

You do.

Second Corinthians 5:20 calls us ambassadors for Christ — presbeuo, officially commissioned representatives of the Kingdom, sent into territory that does not belong to us, carrying authority from the One who appointed us. And the authority you carry is not just theological. It is experiential. It is the testimony.

Revelation 12:11 gives us the two weapons: the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. Together. Not one without the other. The blood is the foundation. Your story is the weapon. And the enemy was present for your before — which means he knows exactly what changed and cannot argue with the fact that it did.

The Greek word hagiazo — sanctify, set apart — does not just mean to clean something up. It means to set something apart for a specific commissioned purpose. You were not pulled out of your worst moment just to be quiet about it. You were commissioned through it.

📖 Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:20

🔤 Ancient Word: Hagiazo (Greek) — to sanctify; to set apart as holy for a specific commissioned purpose; not just clean but sent
