    • [04:50] Embracing Vulnerability

Being vulnerable means being who you are. And when you stop trying to be someone you’re not, it gives your business some space to grow.

      [06:09] Transcend

To transcend means to overcome your self-limiting beliefs. These are inherited beliefs often passed on to us from our parents but you have to transcend past those to fulfill who you truly are.

      [08:32] Accountability

JM learned from his dad these powerful nine words and 27 letters: “Do what you say you are going to do.” It doesn't mean you're not going to screw up along the way. It doesn't mean it's going to be perfect. But if you're going to commit something, then just do it.

      [11:32] Culture & Simplicity

If you have a company and you're creating your own core values, or you already have your own core values, then you have to revisit those and distill your values down to three things.

Keep it simple. Stop trying to make some mission statement that sounds so awesome on a wall, but nobody can regurgitate it. You want people to really embrace your core values, and if somebody acts outside of those core values, then it's no longer a personal conversation.
