DAY 9 MAY 16 This Is the Knockout Punch

Pastor Jose Boveda says it directly in this teaching, and it deserves to be said directly here as well: stop looking in the mirror and saying negative things about yourself. You are not a piece of trash. You are a gift.

That is not a motivational statement. It is a theological verdict drawn from John 17:17 and the complete arc of Jesus's prayer over your life.

Sanctify them through thy truth. Thy word is truth.

The Greek word hagiazo — to sanctify — does not mean what most of us were taught. It does not mean to make clean on the outside through effort and discipline. It means to purify internally through the reformation of the soul. The mind. The will. The very way you see yourself. And the agent of that sanctification is not willpower. It is truth. The Word doing its work from the inside out.

And then John 17:22 gives us the word that lands as the knockout: hen. Oneness. The same complete, undivided, unbreakable unity that exists between the Father and the Son — that is now extended to you. You are one with them. Not eventually. Not when you get it right. Right now. As you are. In the season you're in.

When God the Father looks at you, He does not see a lesser category of being. He sees what Jesus gave — His own oneness, extended and offered. There is no theological space left in that for the voice that says you are not enough.

Today's episode is the one you send to someone who needs to hear it.
