Marigolds, ofrendas, altars, papel picado, November 1st - 2nd, "Dia de Los Muertos" or "Day of the Dead" is a Mexican holiday celebrated in Mexico and other countries.  It's associated with the Catholic celebrations of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day.  Many cities in Mexico have a full day of festivities.
