Kids parties have got out of control over the last decade, but despite jumping castles, life sized Paw Patrol characters and circus acts the main thing  kids want to do is run around and play with their friends.

They are just as excited about a basic cake as they would be about a cake from Planet Cake, just that whatever cake you have it just needs to have a lot of icing.

On the flip side a lot of significant birthdays (turning 30, 40, etc) for adults have gotten more low key over the last decade.
