This week on the podcast I welcome Richard Powazynski, who is the Co-Founder and Community Manager for the Woodies NFT Project, he got involved with the NFT space through being a photographer  and was part of a team of creators from UltraDAO who went on to set up Woodies.

Woodies is a collection of 10,000 generative pieces with over 900 traits. It sold out in 30 mins and has a combines trading volume of over $11m dollars.

But woodies is more than just an Avatar, NFT Profile picture collection, its a story driven complex universe with a strong community that want to do good in the world. The project has already raise enough funds to hit their pledges of planting 1,000,000 trees!

So I was keen to understand more about Woodies, how it was founded, how the community was built and what plans they have for the future.
