After graduating high school at the age of 17, I began my career in the healthcare industry. I have always enjoyed taking care of people, and I was drawn to the critically and terminally ill population.Over the years, I have learned a lot from my colleagues and patients, and I’ve met amazing people who have poured into me and mentored me to become the woman I am today. I became a leader in every position I’ve held and have mentored and trained many nurses, nursing assistants, students, patients, caregivers, and families.
Throughout my career, every position I’ve held was an opportunity to advance my knowledge and my skills so I could provide exceptional, competent, compassionate care and lead others to do the same. Leadership is something that has come natural to me and I love educating and supporting others
In February 2023, I asked God to take the lead to bring me on a new journey and to use me how he needed me. That’s when Hospice Buddy was born!This journey has led me to meet some very inspirational women from all walks of life, all over the world and has given me the opportunity to be part of the Dream to Rise Anthology book, alongside many other amazing authors who share how they have overcome life’s obstacles and rose above the challenges.
It has also introduced me to a powerful organization that I am so thankful for and proud to be a part of, Girl Power Alliance. Girl Power Alliance is a premier global community of Christ centered resources for personal and professional development. It aligns with ambitious women excited about pursuing their God-sized dreams, mentoring others, sharing their gifts, and creating Kingdom impact.
