This week, while Dave is away on a work conference, he pre-recorded a show about a second Jim Butcher book series. This is a high fantasy series that was conceived as a bet with a member of a writers workshop. Take two lame ideas and create a series based around them. The two ideas were the Lost Roman Empire and Pokemon. What came of it is a very interesting series called the Codex Alera.
