The two most important days of your life are the moment you were born and the moment you realize why you were born. The keys to finding your purpose are self-belief, a vision you have for yourself, and relentless pursuit all day every day. You need to believe it to see it in a world that needs to see it to believe it.

There has to be a burning desire to create a masterpiece without regard to what the people want because people are going to want what they are going to want. Rather, it’s about what you put out there. You’re living for internal gratification, instead of external gratification that will leave you always wanting for more.

For David, failure was never an option. He never thought of failing or losing because he looks at losing as learning. And so, he has never lost, but he has only learned. David believes it’s important to never really pat yourself on the back and think that you ever made it. You have to always be confident and always be a little bit scared. This duality of fear and confidence is what drives him internally. It’s about what you tell yourself, and not what you expect to hear from others.
