The lead up to the 4th of July was increasingly hot and humid, which set the stage for severe weather on the evening of the 3rd. A large supercell thunderstorm cut across Talbot, Caroline, and Sussex counties, bringing wind damage and flooding to some areas and even prompting a brief tornado warning.
