Ponder the Text: For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. -Jeremiah 29:11
Prompt for Thought: What is the one thing you have given up hope on that God is saying there is still hope?
Prayer for the Journey: God, sometimes, we get ahead of you and decide how things are going to turn out in our lives. When we make those rash decisions, please renew our hope and faith in you. Please help us remember that it is not over until God says it’s over. When our hope dies, please light our candles again, and keep us on the pathway towards you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
