As I celebrated Christmas with my family, in a cabin far up in the mountains, I had the opportunity to record a frozen river. it was obviously not completely frozen, as I could hear running water under the ice.

I recorded in several different places, as the sound changed every time I moved the microphone a few centimeters.

What you get to hear, is a short compilation of some of the recodings I did that cold Christmas morning.
