It is an honour to have Professor Frank Frizelle join me for episode 29. Frank is a leading gastroenterologist and colorectal surgeon based here in Christchurch. I first met Frank many years ago when I was about 12, as he was the specialist throughout my mother’s bowel cancer journey. This whole experience is definitely a time in my life that sparked a real interest for me in medicine, health, and nutrition’s involvement with bowel diseases. Since then, I have followed a lot of Frank’s research, his involvement in the bowel cancer New Zealand charity, and have had the privilege of working with patients who have been previously under his care. I hope you enjoy listening to this very in-depth, interesting and thought-provoking discussion.
