Archery can be a fun sport but you have some safety issues to consider.  

1.  don't dryfire the bow

2. Inspect your equipment

3. Stop shooting when an unsafe condition is present

4. Aim at only your intended target

5. Only go down range when it is safe and no one is still shooting

6. Make sure you are shooting at your target in a safe direction.

7. Use appropriate safety equipment.
