Everything you do in life requires energy, ATP. Your body is the pinnacle of complexity, but this complexity needs energy to express it. 3.8 billion years ago a crazy event took place by chance that turned you into what you are today. This is that story of Endosymbiosis. The story of how two bacteria came together to create the first complex cell. A cell that now had a surplus of energy. Energy that could now be used to create all of the human experiences of today. We are born to live a dynamic life, but to be active you require fuel.
