Our finale to season four has arrived! We first came across our guest Apolla Echino through watching her amazing documentary on Amazon Prime, “A woman’s guide to the world – Surfing the South Island of New Zealand - Winter” – which is the perfect 40-minute escape for your mind, so make sure you check it out - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9a9zj_49Fw0&t=1s
After doing a bit more research we found out it was actually a series and not only included the visual masterpiece we had found originally but also an incredible short film about a voyage from Antarctica to the Amazon rainforest - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgYvytIcQ_o
Our discussion is a philosophical and hugely insightful one about the journey Apolla has been on from her early experiences through to where she is now. We explore the challenges that still exist as a woman finding her path professionally and personally and touch on some subjects that are extremely poignant in modern society. Please find below the the links to Apolla’s Youtube channel and her website where you can find out more about some of the amazing productions she’s created.
