Flyweight is changing. Out is Brandon Moreno and Alexandre Pantoja. In is Lone'er Kavanagh and Joshua Van. The new era of 125 is one that's younger. Lone'er Kavanagh's win over Brandon Moreno was a perfect example of that. He was calm, controlled, and despite the odds being against him, on point all night.

Lone'er Kavanagh beat Brandon Moreno at his own game. Moreno was too content to striker with the younger, faster 26 year old. Now the eyes are pointed forward. Where does Lone'er Kavanagh sit come Tuesday when the new UFC rankings come out. There are options: Manel Kape, Kyoji Horiguchi, Alexandre Pantoja, Brandon Royval. Whoever Lone'er Kavanagh fights next, it will be one step closer to a title shot.
