If you are a mom with a busy life, you know the pressure that comes at Christmas to do it all. When I first got married I remember people asking me - are you done your Christmas baking? I remember thinking,...is that a requirement now that I'm married?

Over the years with 4 kids, business and hockey, I have learned to simplify my list. That means eliminating the extras and evaluating my to-do list with more honesty. I ask myself, why is that on the list? Does it matter? Will the joy of Christmas be less if I don't get it done. If the answer is no, it is scratched.

I hope that you find humour in my story, that it gives you permission to simplify, and allows you to experience more joy during your Christmas season.
