Bryce is a funny, mechanical, HAPPY little guy who was diagnosed with autism at age two and is now six years old. His pure joy makes this world a much better place!
In this episode, we begin with Bryce assisting with the intro. Although he has no idea that he has autism or that he has some beautiful differences from many others, he loves the podcast and will ask Google to play it. He now wants to participate in the recording. We took the opportunity to let our listeners hear how Bryce tries so hard to have conversations. He mimic. He will bring up a topic to others with no introduction, so they are confused - but he TRIES so hard! We also asked him some random questions to see if he could answer them correctly. He actually did really well but quickly cut out - and now he has told me to stop asking questions this past week because he did NOT like me asking him questions that were not pre-programmed for easy answers. We talk about Bryce's progress with language, comprehension, and how we can help him develop more in these areas. We also share a some recent highlights, including a fun-filled trip to the MOSI Science Museum in Tampa, FL.
If you are enjoying the show, please take a quick moment to give us a rating and review to help other families find our podcast, too. We are humbled and honored to follow our calling and be Autism Ambassadors while helping others understand our world a little more than they did before listening to the podcast. We also feel called to bring light to a community that has experienced dark days after the "diagnosis". (Luke 1:79)
