Is being competitive a good or a bad trait?
People who are highly competitive usually can keep going and going until they reach their desired goals, they don't give up easily and try to be the best they can be.
Living in a world where competition is highly valued and "winning" is often directly tied to self-esteem and personal value often people perceive there to be two possibilities outcomes: to win or to lose.
So is being highly competitive always a good thing or always a bad thing?
The truth is probably somewhere in between.
We discuss whether we are inherently competitive and where we try and find the right balance.
