Yvonne Castaneda is the author of Pork Belly Tacos with a Side of Anxiety, a memoir that chronicles her challenges with addiction and mental health. She is an Adjunct Professor at Boston College School of Social Work where she teaches Basic Skills in Clinical Social Work, Social Welfare Policy, and Basic Skills in Macro Social Work. Yvonne received her Masters of Social Work from Boston College in 2018 and was a proud member of the Latino Leadership Initiative, she has worked primarily with the Latino population in community health in the city of Boston providing culturally sensitive therapeutic support and treatment.
