Episode 37: A Rooted Life
Soulful Psalms of Summer Series
This week, we begin our Soulful Psalms of Summer journey with a powerful reminder:
“She is like a tree… planted beside flowing water.” — Psalm 1 (Soulful Paraphrase)
A rooted life is a restful life.
Not because everything is easy—
but because you know who you are,
whose you are,
and where your nourishment comes from.
In this episode, you’ll experience:
– A soulful paraphrase of Psalm 1 for Black women in times such as this
– A Lectio Divina–style reflection
– A sacred Colloquy: a divine conversation with Jesus, Creator, and a Wise Woman of Faith—connecting your prayer life to everyday reality
Soul Care Invitation
What grounds you?
What voices, routines, or spaces are draining your roots?
Where might God be inviting you to stay planted and thrive?
🎧 Tune in.

🙏🏾 Rest in it.
