The Ouija Board. The Spirit Board. The Witches board.  Most of us have heard of, if not encountered, this mysterious object.  Podcasts like Morbid (omg Christine, you are mentioning Morbid again? YUP) and Scared to Death are full of chilling tales of Ouija board sessions gone right, or terribly wrong.  It's even made its way into popular culture, like the "Agatha All Along" episode, 'Darkest Hour, Wake Thy Power,' where the proper- or improper-use of the Ouija board is explored. I even have friends who refuse to use one, or even allow one in their house. But why? Where did this little board come from, and why are we so scared of it? Today, we're going to delve into the fascinating history of the Ouija board and explore the reasons behind its enduring reputation.
