This week we discuss the unfortunate case of Colton Read, the former airman who went to get his gallbladder removed at Travis Air Force base, but left with both of his legs removed instead. After this tragic incident, Colton is medically discharged from the military with no malpractice compensation. This leaves him and his wife attempting to sue the U.S. government for millions over the botched surgery, only to come face-to-face with the sad realities of the Ferres Doctrine.
