Anyone who eats the flesh of a mermaid will be forever cursed with eternal life. Also, like, all the other parts of mermaids do increasingly weird stuff as this slowly devolves into an anthology horror. Yuta is one such immortal, looking for a way to die, but only of old age, because as established earlier, you can use mermaids to make a poison that kills immortals. Anyway, he's wandering around Japan with another immortal Mana, and they have fun adventures as they both share the curse of immortality. This week, Matt, Jae, and special guest Lum (@LumRanmaYasha) read and discuss Mermaid Saga by Rumiko Takahashi.
