Welcome back to episode 42 with Glen Currie. Glen is a Methven local and as many of you would know him in the multisport space he is the man behind Coast to Coast alongside a pretty epic support crew. I really enjoyed catching up with Glen, and although have known him the majority of my life going way back to when he taught me at Mt Hutt College (which to be fair to both of us is many years ago!) I learnt so much about his upbringing and experiences prior to getting into the race director role. We cover his experience growing up as a kid amongst a Mid-Canterbury arable family, what inspired him to become a PE teacher, his passion for snow sports, the great outdoors, adventure racing, and ofcourse plenty around how he juggles a role as massive as Coast to Coast alongside his family and the farm. We hope you enjoy this conversation as we both had a great time recording this episode. Don't forget this is a new podcast and taking a few seconds to review on your listening platform is always appreciated.
