This week on The Kaito and Red Show, we break down the latest gaming news and biggest stories in video games, including Sony’s clarification on its new PlayStation DRM system and what it could mean for players going forward.
We also cover the launch of Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred, where Red would like a word with Blizzard about its monetization strategy, early reactions to Valve’s new Steam Controller, and why Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 continues to rule with its ongoing roadmap and post-launch support.
We also played some games this week. While Red still doesn’t own Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, he already has an island idea he hasn’t seen anyone else come up with yet. Meanwhile, Mass Effect 3 somehow turned into a CSI episode as Red makes the case for why Shepard’s housing situation is completely unfair. At the same time, Kaito restarted Fire Emblem Engage once again after realizing he wasn’t playing on the hardest difficulty possible.
For this week’s Question of the Week, we imagine what our ideal real-life boss would look like if they were based on a video game character.
