Daddy Eats Last

E43: Ryan gets engaged and we tell our engagement stories.

Listen Later

Getting engaged is a big deal and from buying the ring to getting down on one knee often things don't go exactly to plan when you're going to propose (even though actually proposing can only take a couple of seconds).
As soon as you get engaged, one of the first questions people will ask is how you got proposed to. So we get Ryan's story on how he and his partner (TK) got engaged a few weeks ago while it's still fresh in his mind.
Matt and Kane also both share their stories on their own engagements and as usual each of the boys have a completely different story on one of their most special days.
We also discuss the 3 Cs of diamonds and buying a ring and how despite there sometimes being an expectation of engagement how it still genuinely seems a surprise when it happens and how nervous we still get.
It's a fun episode with lots of laughs and a bit of love.

DADDY EATS LAST discusses what it means to be a man and a father in modern society and all the issues that comes with both.
