E44: Palliative Care

Listen Later

Show Notes

On this week of Shirley Talk, Mike welcomes 3 hospice professionals from the university of Louisville to discuss palliative care. Mike asks them about their experience in helping people in the local community. They pull back the curtain on some of the unknown questions regarding end-of-life care. They detail a local, tight-nit group of doctors and nurses that focus not just on helping their patients, but their patient's families as well. Each guest recounts their experiences through school and what led them to choosing to help people and their families in the most difficult of times. From planning for death, to forming a living will — they give excellent advice on planning for end-of-life care and what to start planning for living wills.
