E5 When Habits Pay Off

Today, we are going to discuss how establishing healthy habits and routines in your life can act as a crutch to lean on when you experience misalignment in your life.

It was only six months ago that I began to create structure into my day. By slowly introducing healthy habits and getting rid of bad habits, you can start to see changes with growth and development.

When there is structure with the healthy elements of your life that are nonnegotiable, missing out on them starts to create misalignment. This reality check allows you to check in with yourself to ensure that you listen to that inner voice that is tugging at you when you are set off track.

Today, I encourage you to start to think of healthy habits that that you can start to implement in your own life. Habits that will pay off in the long run. Implement something to hold onto consistently so that when that feeling of unrest comes, you can go to that habit for security balance and release.

Some examples are to begin a daily practice of one of the following:

 

  • Exercising
  • Meditation
  • Prayer
  • Time for Thought
  • Daily Devotional  

 

If you do decide to take on these healthy habits in your life, don't give it only 21-days. You see, I believe that it takes far longer than 21-days to create a habit that is a lifestyle change. Do it until you don't have to think about doing it anymore. Do it until the time comes when you feel out of alignment if it is missing from your day.
