Join me in this honest comparison to spiritual disciplines and the struggle to keep it up. We can't do the routine for routine sake. But why do it at all? Do we desperately need Jesus the way we once did? How do we get back there? It's not a one solve fix all problem. Let's find our desperate places and choose Him over our vices and lesser gods. Give grace to yourself when you miss the mark, because you will ...time and time again. If you let that derail you, you'll fall further away from His sweet presence, trusting in yourself more, and beaten down by life's cycle of pile up. Let's wrestle with our desperation together.
